There are several good ones, but Nexus Mod Manager is your best bet. You can hop directly to the kind of mod you want via the links below.Įven if you’re just planning on using a few mods, grabbing a mod manager will skip so much hassle. We've only picked the very best Skyrim mods, but there are so many available that we've had to break them down by category. The fewer mods you’ve installed, the easier it will be to pinpoint any problems or conflicts. You don’t need to fire up the save after every mod, but it’s worth checking a few times during the process to make sure everything’s working.

What I like to do is create a new, unmodified game, get somewhere like Riverwood and then create a save that I can use for testing. It’s also recommended to do a clean install of Skyrim and start a new game, especially if you’re going to be throwing a lot of mods into the mix. **HUGE Update on – List is about 99% complete. Before you start turning dragons into 'Macho Man' Randy Savage, there are a few things you’ll want to install first. I have not found a list of which items were added by that mod, but as I figure them out, I will denote them in orange.** **Note: Some of the items on this list may be added by Fishing In Skyrim by Arodicus Snaux. I hope that this will be useful to others, and maybe save you from wasting rare and valuable ingredients just trying to figure out what they do. I just got Snakebite (I think that’s the name of the perk) which allows me to learn more from eating ingredients, so I’m building the list as I acquire new ingredients. It will be updated probably once a week as I keep learning new effects. This alchemy list however, is far from complete.

The cooking recipes list, as far as I know, is quite complete except for the secret recipes that are out in the world.

With CACO being one of my favorite mods, I am making these lists for myself, but I figured it would be a great thing to share, since it seems that no one else has gone to the trouble of doing it.

I recently wrote a post featuring a full unofficial cookbook for the Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul by kryptopyr mod for Skyrim. Enjoy my writing and art? Want to see more? Support my work on Patreon or donate with PayPal.
